We haven’t watched television for awhile in fact we kind of lost touch with the outside world for a couple of weeks.
No late breaking stories, no disasters, no news report breaking into The Biggest Loser telling you that there is a ladder in the middle of the 405. It has been quiet and nice.

Speaking of the news, I did catch a snippet of the
First Lady at a school talking to kids about not being fat when a young girl asked about her illegal alien mother being deported. Mrs. Obama seemed to ignore it. Is that ignoring the elephant in the room?

I kind of feel for first ladies. It must be tough to walk the line between yuor opinions, your husband's opinions, his public policy, all the while thinking of how the press can take one sound bite out and misinterpret what you said anyway. But clearly not talking can be just as bad!
I'm guilty of putting screwdrivers in the silverware drawer, lol. Love that pic!
I was at Best Buy last week thinking how amazing it is how thin all the new TVs are. Technology just keeps on going!
Youre awesome! thanks for the shout out. Actually I didn't do a happy hour this week. I'm a slacker. I'll try to get to it tho now that I know you're counting on me :)
hmmm....my spoons keep disappearing, maybe they've met up with your forks?! Seriously, I just found one the other day-under the bathroom sink and it still had icing on it from a cake we had weeks ago. Then I found a paperplate with cake crumbs in the wastebasket, also under the sink...WHO eats cake in the bathroom?! According to my boys, the person's name is Not Me.
I've had camping experiences where the camp starts to come alive around 9:00pm. NOT my cup of tea. argh.
Happy VGNO Gladys!!!
I really really want one of those big tv's hung up there on the wall over the fireplace (that I also want really really bad). Maybe someday. I am sorry I am a little late with FF but I am usually never late for anything and I have a very good excuse! I love the silverware thing and oh how true it is. When I bought new silverware I actually put the old in the junk drawer with the screw drivers and plyers. But no they still went for the good stuff. Have a great weekend and I hope when you have time you will stop by and say hi.
Wow-Can you imagine stepping off that "deck" in a darkened night? That would hurt!haha
Oh, and I'm sorry, but I am far too young to know what "threading a projector" means....
