Can't Get A Word In Edgewise

I finally was able to wrestle free of the duct tape and get the zip ties off my feet and hands and I’m back. Bertha has completed yet another treatment for CVD. I have bought her a gross of Protection and have put her on a twelve step program.

Let’s give Tadpole a hand for taking over while I was out of commission. She did a great job of being totally random. It is true what she says. She isn’t a big talker at all. The truth of the matter is a telephone conversation can be painful. It is like estracting teeth from a rabid rottwieler. This is how they often go:
Me: Hi honey how is it going.
Tad: Fine
Me: How is my grandbaby?
Tad: Fine
Me: How is Pud
Tad: Fine
Me: Wow sounds like everyone is fine. So what have you been up to?
Tad: Not much.
Me: Well like what? How is work?
Tad: Work is fine.
Me: Well, how is school?
Tad: Fine.
Me: How is Priss doing in school?
Tad: Fine
Me: CAN I talk to Priss? (insert rolling eyes and a huge sigh of exaperation)
Tad: Sure
Priss: Hi
Me: Hi Priss, how are you?
Priss: Fine
Me: How is school?
Priss: Fine
Me: What have you been doing?
Priss: Pwaying. Tanks. Bye. Click
Yes they are a family of few words. Not at all like me.

Sounds like a conversation between me and my mom.

It's because you guys have been doing all of the talking our whole lives and we are cool with that. Why shake it up now?

Glad you are back!
