Random Thoughts 6-5-09

So now we know where all those crab on the Deadliest Catch end up. See they are from KILLER Crabs. Also and too what is drawn butter. I don't want a picture of butter someone has drawn, I want the real thing.
Too Late.

Kahuna chased this guy down for me so I could take his picture. I just wanted proof that the 1960's are alive and well. At least in this old surfer dudes mind. Oh and just so you know. He parked this Van 15 years ago with the surf board on top. He got in it a couple of months ago fired it up and has been driving around since. He has not tried taking the surf board out. Of course I also think he 'inhaled' about 15 years ago and hasn't exhaled yet.

I've always heard of beer goggles but beer glasses?

Why is it I know all the words to the song of he 50’s but can’t remember where I put my keys?

Why do Religious channels and Spanish stations come in clear as a bell with an antenna but all other stations look like a scrambled porn channel? I keep trying to figure out if that is Conan Obrien or Deep Throat. Although I must confess, watching Bugs Bunny in Spanish is rather interesting. If the Octomom gets her own TV show will it be on channel 8?

Now that the government owns General Motors do you get a government license plate when you buy one?
My Brother, Buck, and his wife, Pie, have been married 33 years today. Isn’t that amazing since it seems like it was only 33 years ago that they got married? I really have to give Pie credit how she has lived with his aggrevating, pestering and teasing for 33 years is beyond me.

Happy Anniversary You Two.

Today is Friday Fragments over at Half Past Kissing Time. Go on over and visit the people on her Mr. Linky.

ALSO

It's Virtual Girls Night Out over at Ann Again and Again...

She always does this cute little virtual drink thing so I thought I would add mine. Way back in the olden days I worked as a bartender. We had a drink called a Dead Armadillo because it made you roll over on your back with your legs up in the air like a dead armadillo.

Take a 16 oz glass put a shot of every type of alcohol in your bar stock in the glass, mix well pour over rocks and serve.
Now go enjoy your weekend and let me know what you did.

Yup! We've run across the antenna-Spanish-station-clear-as-a-bell thingy in our fifth wheel too. Makes me want to learn Spanish!

I'll take one Dead Armadillo to go! I was wondering who else in the world watches those Spanish channels. Looks like I've found you.
Have a great VGNO!

I can hardly wait to try that Dead Armadillo! Maybe I should wait until I have someone at home with me though - sounds like it may be serious enough to lead to a 911 call! ;)

I think I could use a Dead Armadillo or two tonight! Back right out of high school, my best friend and I used to make this stuff we called 'Swamp Water'. It was a bottle of cheap gin, a bottle of cheap tequila and a 2-liter bottle of 7-Up. If you were getting all fancy, say for a party, you cut up some lemons and limes in to it. We made it for a party once and some wise guy put blue raspberry Kool-Aid in it. It looked (and probably tasted) like a pitcher of Aqua Velva!
