Random Thoughts and Winner Announced

I have to give credit to my sister-in-law Pie for this picture.
This is Trooper and Buck. Like father like son.

I have to admit I sometimes sit and stare out into space and wonder. I wonder about so many things. I have so many quandaries and questions upon which I study. Sometimes I will go to the computer and research these paradoxes and often I find no answers. I will ask my loving mate, Kahuna, if he has the answers and he will often look me in the eyes, pat me on the head and say “Did you remember to take your medication?” So I will share my thoughts with you and please feel free to pipe in and answer these bewilderments. No really PLEASE give me some relief!

Here is a big one. If identical twins marry identical twins will their children look alike?

Or

Where do those shoes in the middle of the freeway come from? Why shoes? Why not girdles and mesh tank tops? Why are they usually sneakers and there is only one?

If a fly gets into your car and you are driving 100 miles per hour is the fly flying the same rate of speed to keep up with you? If he stops will he pierce the back windshield as he is hurled through the glass and to a horrible death?

If each snow flake is unique pattern will it ever run out of unique patterns and start repeating itself? And how do we know that each snow flake is unique?

Does someone study each and every snow flake? If so who does he or she work for?

Is this the snowflake inspector?

Now see this is why I get nothing done.
I linked this to Mrs. 4444 blog for Friday Fragments: Here is her linky thingy. Click on it and she will magically appear and fix your a drink. Ok maybe she won't fix you a drink but she will make you smile.

I ran the TRNG on the comments to Hank The Cow Dog Contest and came up with this
True Random Number Generator Min: Max: Result: 5

I loved the Bobbsey Twins - my great aunt's old yellowed copies that the pages would break off if you bent them or hit them against something. Something about how careful I had to be with the books made me treasure them.

Michelle e-mail with your information and I’ll get these in the mail to you.

Thanks to everyone for playing. Next time I’ll see if I can give a way a Pony or a Cadillac or something.

Glad you linked up today! These are some great questions--especially the twins one!! The big Kahuna; love that guy. I've always wondered the same thing about the shoes....

Don't forget to mention Friday Fragments in your post, please. (Linky Love is always appreciated :)

Well boy, howdy, Gladys. I don't have your e-amil to e-mail you and give you my info! But I sure am glad I won! My son's gonna love this. Michelle!

I've wondered that about snowflakes myself. How can we know for sure?

Interesting questions...

I know the first answer is...

Probably not...

See how helpful that one semester of genetics was for me and now you?

I think the twins question was definitively answered by daytime television back in the 'sixties. On the Patty Duke Show, Patty played "identical cousins", Patty and Cathy Lane. So clearly identical twins marrying identical twins must yield identical cousins. (I certainly never doubt anything I see on TV.)

You are a very deep thinker. I can't really ponder those type of questions:)

too funny, and some I have pondered some of these quandries myself at times, especially the random sneaker? You know a guy actually wrote a book with pictures of sneakers he came across on his travels, and somehow tracked down the owners of them, (maybe he posted them on a website or Google earth or something) anyhoo, doesn't really matter how, just the fact that he bothered is mind boggling in itself.
